Nature Led

When we started this farm, it was important to us that we built something that gives back - creating beauty for people while protecting the natural beauty around us. We want our flowers to be part of a healthy landscape, supporting soil, wildlife, and the wider environment we’re lucky enough to grow in.

Our approach blends traditional land-based wisdom with modern ecological science. By working with natural systems rather than against them, we aim to grow flowers in a way that’s both beautiful and regenerative

Organic, chemical-free growing

We grow without pesticides or synthetic fertilisers, relying instead on healthy soil and natural ecological balance. Flowers are grown in diverse mixes rather than monocultures. This traditional growing method helps plants support each other and encourages a balanced ecosystem.

mulching & compost

We mulch generously and use homemade or responsibly sourced compost to feed the soil, hold moisture, and reduce weeds naturally.

winter cover crops

Each winter we sow cover crops to protect and feed the soil. This keeps living roots in the ground, improves soil structure, and naturally adds fertility for the following season.

no-dig growing

Our beds are created using a no-dig method, layering organic matter on top of the soil rather than turning it. This protects soil life, improves structure, and helps build rich, healthy ground over time.

local water

Being beside a stream allows us to irrigate gently and responsibly. We’re also exploring swales - a traditional water-management technique that slows and spreads rainwater naturally.
